I initially tried a menstrual cup based on my friends’ recommendations, but my first experience wasn’t great. I felt uncomfortable and struggled with the sterilization process, which made me hesitate to try again. However, after watching a video from Auleavs, everything changed! It really solved my sterilization problem. Plus, the Auleavs cup itself is significantly more comfortable than the one I used previously. I highly recommend it to every girl !.

Step 1: Sanitize for First-Time Use

Before using your Auleaves Cup for the first time, you must sterilize it.

Place your cup inside the Auleaves sterilizer case.
Fill the case with boiling water. Submerge the cup for 5-10 minutes.
Carefully remove the cup, let it cool, and dry it with a clean towel. It’s now ready for use.

Step 2: Folding the Cup

There are two primary folding methods that are easy for beginners: the U-Fold and the Push-Down Fold. Choose the one that feels most comfortable for you.

Step 3: How to Insert

Wash and Relax: Wash your hands and get into a comfortable position, such as sitting on the toilet or standing with one leg on the bathtub. Take a deep breath to relax your pelvic floor muscles.
Insert: Hold the folded cup and gently push it horizontally towards your tailbone.
Check the Seal: Once inserted, run your finger around the cup’s base to ensure it has fully opened and created a seal.

How to Remove

Wash Hands & Pinch: Wash your hands. Gently pull the stem until you can reach the base of the cup, then pinch it firmly to break the suction seal.
Remove: Gently rock the cup from side to side and pull it downward.
Empty and Clean: Empty the contents, wash the cup with warm water and a mild, pH-balanced soap, and it’s ready for its next use.

Step 4 : Care and Cleansing

Rinse: Empty the contents and rinse the cup with warm water .
Sterilize: At the end of your cycle, sterilize your cup in the sterilizer case to prepare for your next period.
